In this seven week class, we will cover:

I.        BASICS

A business is only as good as the foundation it is built upon.  In this class, you will learn the ins and outs of successfully laying the groundwork to catapult you to the next level.  You’ll learn about:

§         Getting your team together
§         The difference between running a business and being an employee
§         Legal aspects you may not have thought of
§         Establishing an office from the start

II.      PUTTING THE PROFESSIONAL IN PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZER

Walk through the door well prepared and with the professionalism and confidence that makes clients invest in YOU!  Develop your policies and procedures, set your fees, work on your business plan and mission statement.

III.    SHOW ME THE MONEY – HOW TO BE FINANCIALLY RESPONSIBLE

You’re in business to make money so you have to know where the money is coming from and where it is going to.   Without this core piece, you may be giving the store away and not even know it.  In this class, you’ll learn:

§         How to get started on the financial journey
§         The importance of a relationship with your banker
§         Secrets of the bank to make you money available more quickly
§         How to set your fees
§         Budgeting tips

 

IV.   NEEDS ASSESSMENTS

The phone is ringing and now you need to find out what your client REALLY needs and the best way to move forward. 

§         Determine readiness 
§         Phone intakes
§         Ask key questions
§         Avoid common pitfalls

V.     ORGANIZING SKILLS

Things to consider during your organizing session:

 
         §         Safety first for you and your client
       §  Transferring skills to your client
         §   The Organizing Process

VI.   IDEAL CLIENT

In the beginning, you want to serve anyone who picks up the phone but after a while, you realize that you don’t want to work with just anyone.  Pinning down your ideal client will focus you like nothing else in your business.  In this class, you’ll learn:
 
§         Who you serve best
§  What branding can do for you once you ID your ideal client
§         Where and how to meet the ideal client
§         The importance of referral networks and how to tap into them

VII. MARKETING

So you have a business, but where are the clients?  Getting the word out can be the most important aspect of your business.  You CAN use many low or no cost targeted marketing strategies that work for new businesses.  In this class, you will learn:

         §  What makes you unique?
            §  Attracting your ideal client
            §  PR vs. Marketing
   §  How networking can boost your business

 

Classes are every Monday starting on September 29 – November 10 at 7pm Eastern

7 training hrs (1 hr classes)
7 small group hrs
Fee: $299
