1. 12 MONTHS TO SIMPLICITY - IN THE KITCHEN
Since Thanksgiving is upon us, I thought it was
appropriate to focus on kitchen organization. After
all,
you will be spending time there cooking and/or eating.
When you moved into your home, usually the place
that
you put something is where it has lived ever since.
Are
there any items that are illogically placed in your
kitchen?
For example, are your:
Spices close to the stove?
Pot holders close to the oven?
Plastic wraps and foils near the counter where you
wrap leftovers?
Dishes close to the dishwasher for unloading?
Silverware close to the table?
Does your refrigerator door open the right way (most
can be switched)?
It really only takes a little bit of time to look
around to see
if logic is present or if some changes need to be
made.
Now, what do you do with all the stuff that you
don't use?
My suggestion is to donate it to someone that can
use it.
How many sets of dishes and glasses do you need?
Can
you use all of the coffee mugs that you have collected
over
the years? Is the bread machine now a towel or recipe
holder?
I suggest that you take a day to go through each
cabinet one
by one. Take all of the contents out of one cabinet
(don't do
more than one at a time, it will be overwhelming)
and pitch or
donate those items that you haven't used in a long
time
(most people don't even know what some of the tools
are that they have!). Be sure that the items that
you are keeping
are placed logically. If you only use some items
once a year,
keep them in another location (basement) until you
need them.
In the cabinets, I found the Martha Stewart wire
shelves an
excellent idea. Dishes or glasses can be stacked
on top of
each other, without having a need for both hands
when
reaching for a plate or glass.
Make this Thanksgiving low stress...get your kitchen
in order today!

2. SUBSCRIBER TIPS
I heard this tip somewhere and it works so well
it is
worth passing on. Cut the legs off of old panty
hose
and use them as sleeves for wallpaper, wrapping
paper,
anything else on long rolls. It doesn't tear like
a rubber
bands often does, plus you get to get rid of old
panty hose.

Thank you, Carolyn, for your great tip!

3. IN CLOSING -- THANK YOU!
Kreamer Connect is quickly approaching its 5th year
anniversary! I want to sincerely thank you for your
loyalty and
support that you have given. I am eternally grateful
for each
subscriber and client. After all, I am in business
for you and
BECAUSE of you!
Thanksgiving is my favorite day of the year because
it
provides the opportunity to express your thanks
without
the pressure of gifts and all that goes with that.
The
simplicity of it speaks volumes...naturally.
So, again, I thank you from the bottom of my heart
for your presence in my life.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving :-)
Here's to simplifying your life!
Until December,
Patty
